Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 150x150 Royal Enfield unveils new superbike Thunderbird 500Royal Enfield India alliance with Eicher Motors has launched its newest one of the high-end Bullet motorcycle, Thunderbird 500 in Mumbai on Thursday, targeting India’s young motorcycling seekers.

Long distance riding super bike, Thunderbird 500 is added in flagship of Thunderbird 350 and while launching nest Bullet motorcycle, MD & CEO Sidhartha Lal confirmed that in upcoming year, the company hike up its two-wheeler capacities by 50% to 1,50,000 bikes a year.

The company claims that Thunderbird 500 delivering a total of 500km with the larger furl tank, split-design seat, projector headlamps and LED tail lights, is ready to hit a tough competition with Honda and Yamaha, in Indian bike market segment.

“Eicher is currently selling 1000 units of Thunderbird 350 in a month. The waiting period for other bikes will lower as we grow production by 2013,” he added, the company’s will be opening the new plant at Oragadam, near Chennai to raise production line by assembling.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 is racing in the Indian Two Wheelers Market at piece of about Rs. 1,82,571 (ex showroom of Mumbai), one of the highest costing model of company but cheaper than other rival. While another Thunderbird 350cc version is also available with all the new features at Rs 1,43,346.
