Samsung introduces new member of Galaxy family, Galaxy Grand

Samsung comes with another smartphone lining up its Galaxy series, called the Galaxy Grand with two versions- Dual SIM and Single SIM.

Samsung Galaxy Grand will introduced firstly with its dual-SIM version GT-I9082, then followed by the single SIM version GT-I9080, the company said.

Running on Android 4.1.2 aka Jelly Bean version, Galaxy Grand packs with various features including automatic call as raise device to ear, Popup Video and the virtual assistant S Voice.

Samsung Grand features a 5-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with 480×800 pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB built in storage and expandable it upto 64GB via a MicroSD card.

As part of connectivity, Samsung launched its device with 4G LTE network supporting Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Glonass and DLNA . There is an 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera for video calling with set of sensors such as accelerometer, gyro sensor and a digital compass.

Samsung has not revealed any information about the price or availability of the device, but expected to be very soon.
