SC to hear appeal against BS Yeddyurappa

BS Yeddyurappa 150x150 SC to hear appeal against BS YeddyurappaThe former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa who was freed from the allegation of the illegal mining by the Karnataka High Court, will today present before the Supreme Court for hearing.

In last March this year, Karnatak High Court had dismissed the FIR report that was recorded against Yeddyurappa called it invalid report.

It also said that Lokyukta was proved failure in way of producing any evidence against Yeddyurappa to favor any mining company.

On basis of allegation made by the Lokayukta report last year, Yeddyurappa resigned as the Chief Minister.

Now the case is in hand of Supreme Court panel that has addressed this to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for detail investigation against Yeddyruppa under the alleged charges of misuse of office in de-notify agricultural land and kickbacks related to illegal mining.

The accused leader was permitted his relatives to make a huge windfall, reselling de-notified land at a huge profit.

Meanwhile, an appeal against Karnataka High court’s quashed decision of FIR against Yeddyruppa will be hear by panel of the Supreme Court and after that hearing it will decide whether to go for a probe by selected CBI department against him or not.
