Indian government is always in doubts and controversial facts because of its way to exempt itself from responsibilities, especially hospitalized sectors, without caring lives of common men.
And this once again has showed in Bulandshahr hospital case where Ayub, the ward boy who applied stitches at Bulandshahr government hospital.
Just after three days when the much embarrassing matter came in which Ayub was caught on camera applying stitches on a patient, state health minister Ahmed Hasan ordered to suspend him along with the chief medical superintendent Dr Shishir Kumar.
Report suggested, as when orders were directed, Bulandshahr hospital staff and doctors went on strike, protesting against orders, claiming both were innocent and just trying to save the life of a patient.
This strike resulted the death of a man, suffering from typhoid, due to lack of treatment with doctors’ ignorance.
Ayub’s case is not one to be dealt; there are other several cases across Uttar Pradesh state, one in West Bengal where a sweeper, Rajkumar along with doctors stitches and injections at Ballia hospital, report said.
Shockingly, driver of the Chief Medical Officer also assist doctors in Kushinagar hospital to treat patients in emergency and general wards. However, in Ballia, a sweeper was dressing a patient, while in Meerut, sweepers were reportedly conducting the a post-mortem of an accident victim, source said.
The situation of government hospitals are going to be worse as no one know ones responsibility, over all negligence and ignorance about safety of patients. The health Minister should watch this bigger and drastically image of government hospital staff.
Not even UP, this has happened across the whole country’s healthcare sector, pitching shambles tag over government.
“The action has been initiated on the recommendation of the director general family welfare Dr Chiraungi Lal. We want to assure people that a lot of improvement has taken place in health services. Best medicines would be provided and corrupt and incapable doctors will be terminated,” Hasan told reporters.
