According to latest news, the highest investigation agency of the country, CBI, has today submitted its status reports in the Aircel-Maxis deal in the Supreme Court.
The CBI said in its report today that the domestic investigation in the case is complete.
Source said that the CBI is probing a powerful person in Malaysia in connection with Aircel-Maxis deal. However, now the CBI said that its investigation has been completed in Malaysia and Mauritius. Read more
News from Punjab capital, Chandigarh, as a top police officer is caught taking a bribe by the Central Bureau of Investigation [CBI] has been arrested.
It is said in reports that IPS officer Desh Raj Singh, was caught by the CBI red handed while he was taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
As per CBI reports, IPS officer Desh Raj Singh is appointed as the Superintendent of Police (City) and he demanded Rs 5 lakh from a uniformed serving station house officer, Anokh Singh and later he settled for Rs 1 lakh. Read more
According to latest news, dentist Nupur Talwar has been released from prison on bail as ordered by a CBI court here today.
Nupur Talwar has been facing charges in the twin murder case of her daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraj.
It is said that special Judge A K Lal ordered bail to Nupur Talwar in pursuance of a Supreme Court’s decision on Sept 17 and ordered that she should be released on September 25. Read more
