Celkon to roll-out new Android ICS Tab, Celtab CT2

The leading Indian Tech company, Celkon Mobiles is going to unveil the 7-inch SIM-based tablet Celtab (CT2), successor of CT1.

With target to expanded business portfolio to some states in north India this year, raising sale volume, the company claims to have 50,000 units order this year and seeks more in future by its low cost tablet.

CT2 is the second launch of company with an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and the tab is powered by 1 GHz processor, coming with 512 RAM.

MTNL introduces 3-tablets starting price Rs 3,999

Amid tablet market segment, now India’s Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) landed with latest launch of its three low cost budget tablets- Lofty TZ300, Lofty TZ200 and the Lofty TZ100, in collaboration with Teracom, tech manufacturer Indian company.

“In partnership with MTNL, we are launching three models of ‘Lofty’ tablets with high-end model priced at Rs 10,999 and entry level model is for Rs 3,999,” Teracom Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Arora told reporters.

Haier unveils Android-based tablets and smartphone

The china-based electronic makers firm, Haier has recently announced the launch of tablets and a smartphone. The company now enters into the smartphone market with Android-based tablets and smartphones.

The South Korean company launched its products at the ongoing consumer electronics fair IFA in Berlin.

Haier has launched Mini Pad711 and Maxi Pad1012 tablets which run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

HCL has launched a new Android tablet in the Indian electronic market, named as HCL ME Y2 tablet. the company officially announced the launch in the country and priced at Rs 14,999.

Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet powered with Android ICS update

Technology news reveals that Lenovo’s IdeaPad K1 tablet users can now upgrade their tablets with latest Android 4.0 Operating System, it is also known as Ice Cream Sandwich.
