According to latest news, the telecom regulatory TRAI has recently asked telecom firms to deactivate ISD calling facility from prepaid mobile number and restore it only if the user gives explicit consent to activate the service.
In a statement issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), it said, “Inform all pre-paid subscribers having ISD facility, through SMS, within 10 days of the date of issue of this direction, that ISD facility of the subscribers shall be discontinued after sixty days.”
