HTC will now proceeding as per guidelines of TomTom, a global supplier of location and navigation products and services as announcement made of partnership with HTC.
According to the first largest partnership deed of TomTom in India, HTC will be guided in concern of the maps, points of interest and turn-by-turn directions for a range of HTC smartphones in India.
Marked it the best and efficient mapping along with navigating services, Nuno Campos, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TomTom Licensing said, “We are excited to expand our global offerings by powering the map services for all HTC smartphones in India and look forward to providing HTC and its customers with the most comprehensive and easy to use maps and navigation services.”
Showing welcome of its supplier offer, HTC will tried to grab the wider scope considered market of India, the second largest population in the world.
HTC users dealt with much difficulty to uses their HTC smartphones due to having navigation problems. But recent partnership announcement with TomTom gives a big relief of accurate and less effortful accessibility.
HTC Country Manager, Faisal Siddiqui said, “We believe Tom Tom is the ideal partner to provide the most current map data that will enable Indian consumers to use their HTC smartphones to navigate accurately and effortlessly.”
As per 2011 study of ABI Research, released in Q3, more than 5.2 million smartphones will ship to India in 2012; this number is projected to more than triple by 2015.
Moreover this is the first time that a global supplier marks the first consumer-focused implementation of its map data in the rapidly growing Indian market.
