Wickedleak to launch Jelly Bean based tablets next month

Latest reports said that Wickedleak is set to line up its Wammy series tablets which will be upgraded with Google’s latest Android 4.1 Operating System version, Jelly Bean, over the air.

To be among the India’s first Android Jelly Bean OS based tablets, the company said in a statement that its latest upgraded Wammy series tablets are likely to be launch in Indian market by 4th week of September, giving best tablet to Indian customers enhancing their experience.

Good for Wammy tablet existing users who can get a free Jelly Bean upgrade, and interestingly for this they will have no need downloading or even PC connection, Wammy tablets updating will happen over the air, according to company spokesperson.

But users have to make Internet connection on their tab and do as per instruction.

In the Wammy series line up, there are already three tablets- Wammy 7 ,Wammy Ethos and Wammy Plus which are available on Wickedleak website for customers to purchase. All these are run on Android 4.0 OS, have 3G networking. The price tag of these tablets in Indian major tablet market is starting from Rs 5,249.

“The Jelly Bean update for the existing Wammy users will be available in the last week of September. Users will be able to update their tablet over the air (no need to connect to PC) shortly after the updated tablet starts shipping to the users,” the company said in a release, source said.
