Will not allow Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister, says Mayawati

The newly appointed Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi lost a legal battle in the Federal Court on the allocation of Lokayukta, BSP Chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati dealt a further blow to the former’s prime ministerial ambitions.

Reports said that Mayawati will spoil Narendra Modi’s chances of becoming the Prime Minister of India.

The former Chief Minister said in an interview with ‘Times Now’ news. She said, “I will ensure that Narendra Modi does not become the Prime Minister in future.”

Meanwhile, Mayawati’s reaction came just few hours after the Supreme Court headed the appointment of RA Mehta as the Lokayukta of Gujarat, which was challenged by Gujarat government

It is further said that the Supreme Court decision came as a major set-back for the Modi government. However, the state government said that it will go through the copy of the court order the then react to the development.
