Heavy Fog forces flight to delay at IGI airport

The winter has started showing its show now; heavy fog surrounded the IGI Airport on Friday morning, which forced to diversion of four flights and delaying 75 others.

Talking to media, an official from Airport authorities said, “Two Jet Airway flights from Doha and Abu Dhabi and one Kingfisher flight from Dubai were diverted to Jaipur while one cargo flight from Chennai was diverted to Ahmedabad.”

In addition to this, around 10 flights were cancelled because of operational problems or poor weather conditions at the location. Meanwhile, fog started at around 2 am in the morning and leads to dip in the runway visibility.

Minority quota may lead to civil war in India

The decision to allow a 4.5 per cent reservation for religious minorities within the 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) that comes ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections is put govt. into a difficult situation.

Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis) are notified as minority communities under Section 2 (c) of the Act.

But Team Anna and other BJP party calls it to be a political game, through such tactics congress would try to put a “civil war” among different communities.

On Friday, BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “The quota within quota is Congress party’s dangerous political game, which can lead to a civil war among the different communities and castes.”

However, the quota within quota is seemed to be Congress party’s strategy to exploit the Muslim votes for political gains which it has been doing by it for the last 60 years.

Rajasthan doctors strike enter third day

Today the strike of Rajasthan doctor is on going of third day. It has really affecting the health of a dozen lives that needed hospitalized services.

This strike has so far claimed around a dozen lives and crippled medical services in the state.

However, all the government doctors are on strike. Out of them, there are some who working in hospitals, dispensaries, primary health centers and resident doctors of all the six medical colleges.

In fact, the reason for this is of their long-pending demands of pay hike and time-bound promotions. And in support of them, the Private doctors and medical teachers also stopped work today for four and two hours respectively.

There are so many doctors who were arrested under RESMA (Rajasthan Essential Services Maintenance Act) from different parts of the state and it would really make a strong threatening impact on the govt.

Solar Paint to brighten your home

The solar system is helpful in many application of electricity, but now it is possible to generate power with “solar paint.

This invention has been conducted by the team of the University of Notre Dame researchers in the U.S. The research led by chemistry professor Prashant Kamat who is an Indian origin in US, in Notre Dame’s Center for Nano Science and Technology.

By using “solar paint” on the outside walls of a house, one can generate electricity from sunlight. “Solar paint” uses semi conducting nanoparticles to produce energy and this can be used to power the appliances and equipment.

While interacting with Media, Kamat said, “By making use of recent advances in semiconductor nanocrystal research, we have now developed a one-coat solar paint for designing quantum dot solar cells.”

Delhi Police arrests 2 Babbar Khalsa suspects

Today, the Delhi Police has been arrested two suspected Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists.

From delhi police investigator’s report, it has been stated that three politicians and religious leaders in Delhi were on BKI target point.
Identification of both alleged terrorist has been put as Sarvpreet Singh and Jaswinder Singh. One has been arrested from Punjab and the other from Shalimar Bagh in New Delhi.

“A team of Delhi Police’s Special Cell apprehends the duo”, said by a senior police official.

However in October before Diwali festival, Delhi Police had covered over 5 kg explosives from a car outside Ambala Cant Railway station that seemed to have foiled a terror strike.
