‘Barfi’ movie gets ‘U’ certificate, releases on Sept 14

The soon to be released film ‘Barfi’ has received ‘U’ certificate from Censor Board, the film is directed by Anurag Basu, and he is very excited to get this for his film.

The director posted on his twitter wall, “Just got the censor certificate, Barfi! is my first U certificate film.”

The director earlier directed films like Murder, Gangster – A Love Story, Life in a… Metro that were released with an A-certificate, however, Kites with actor Hrithik Roshan was awarded U-A certificate.

Meanwhile, Barfi was co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Barfi! The film is about a loving deaf-mute boy (Ranbir Kapoor) and an autistic girl, played by Priyanka Chopra.

The film is expected to release allover on September 14, Telugu actress Ileana D’Cruz’s making her debut with this film in the Bollywood.
