Helicopter crash 300x197 Six NATO troops killed in Afghan Helicopter crashAs per NATO’s news released, six members of NATO force has killed on Thursday when a helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan.

The international military force did not display the identity of those killed until they had notified their families and govt. NATO refused to explain any definite cause of this helicopter crash and said that there had been no insurgent activity in the area at the time of the crash and that its cause was under investigation.

This activity has looked as the attempt of Taliban who had tried to crash a military helicopter in eastern Afghan on last August with a rocket-propelled grenade, in which all 38 members of U.S. and Afghan military were killed. Navy SEALs unit that killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was also included in it. Read more

Yousuf Raza Gilani 300x235 Yousuf Raza Gilani appears at Pakistan Supreme CourtThe Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani seems to be paying a high price in form of his parliamentary post for getting refused from reopening the grafts cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

Last Monday, The Pakistan’s highest court Supreme Court issued a notice to Gilani to appear on 19 January for defining his reason of failing to re processing the money laundry cases against President.

In 2003 a Money laundering case of millions of dollars from Swiss companies was charged against Mr Zardari and his late wife, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and when amnesty granted to them in 2007 by President Pervez Musharraf, and then Zardari’s government requested Swiss authorities to drop down the case. Yusuf Raza Gilani 300x259 Only answerable to Pakistan Parliament, says PM Yusuf Raza GilaniLast week Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani warned by Supreme Court over a mysterious memo when army chief general Ashfaq Kayani and the director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence agency lieutenant-general Ahmed Shuja Pasha accused by Gilani for filing court papers in a case involving memo.

As per Gilani such fact set up competition between military and the civilian government.

Recently rejection made by Gilani on demand of Pakistan’s powerful army chief by quoted saying, “I will not answer to a person. I am answerable to parliament.”

The military chief asked Gilani to clarify his accused reaction or criticism of army and Intelligence agency. Such fact obviously is blowing up tensions with the military. Read more
