Fire in Himalaya House building, no casualties reported

The breaking news of the hour is that a major fire had broke out on the third floor and later spread over fourth and fifth floor on the 12-storey Himalaya House building in Central Delhi today morning.

News have said that around 21 fire engines were rushed at the location of fire accident. As soon as call received, the fire department started its operation, the fire broke out at 6:20 am.

Meanwhile, the fire department has so far rescued two people from the building and no casualties were reported.

Talking to media, an official from fire department said, “The fire broke out in the third floor of the building and spread to the fourth and fifth floors too. No one has been injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet unknown.”

Earlier, thick smoke was seen coming out of the third floor and the fourth floor of the building.
