Google offers Virtual Tour for its Secretive Data Centers

As per latest reports, Google is opening a virtual window via a ‘Where the Internet Lives’ new site launch Wednesday, showing their IT infrastructure inside its secretive data centers.

The data centers are known as search engine’s nerve center where all the operations of an intricate maze of computers guarded such as virtual tours, photos and videos from YouTube, Internet search requests, and distribute email for millions of people.

And the new site is offering public to visit inside some of the eight data centers of Google including in the US, Finland and Belgium.

As per media information, Google’s “Street View” service, used to view photos of world’s neighborhoods, will also facilitate the Virtual tours of a North Carolina data center.

Around more than 1 billion people gathered in Europe, used its services and explore Google Inc high tech innovations and highlights for its global operations. There are hundreds of thousands of machines inside the operating data centers to run search engine  services, but the insiders hit company with target of privacy complaints asked to revise a 7-month-old user data combining policy.

Even anyone with a Web browser to peer inside Google’s data centers.

The new site is providing hundreds of photos facilitating new data center image collection, to explore inner workings of Internet, which are in colorful and exhaustive look into brightly blue lighting colored cooling pipes and reflecting figures, displaying the location of the hardware and Google teams.

US search engine is also seeking to build its other data centers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Chile.
