The largest FMEG Company, Havells India Limited, is going to launch 50 exclusive Galaxy stores with a target to boost its market position across the country.

Havells is at present running 172 Havells Galaxies in India and among new project, 24 stores will be hit out in south India alone, as per Joint MD Anil Gupta .

During Diwali Festival season,  $1.3 billion covering company claimed that the plan would be set by the end of this year with a new range of  Coffee maker, electric kettle, pop-up toaster, sandwich maker and other appliances, offering customers Diwali gifts with its launches.

“The launch of domestic appliances business is in line with our plan to serve the end customer directly. We expect to garner a 10-12% market share in the domestic appliances business in the next three years with revenues of Rs 500 crore,” Anil Gupta added, while announcing.

The company said that its more focus is on South India where it gains 1/3^rd of total of its domestic revenue. For south India Project, Havells set a target of 50% growth by the end of this fiscal year.
