I can do one film every year: Sridevi
Unlike Amala Akkineni, Bollywood actress Sridevi is not making a one-off comeback with her upcoming film ‘English Vinglish’.
Further, the actress said that she will continue to act but with a condition, and that is, she should get inspiring roles which could force her to miss the time she spent with her children and be for the shoot.
Talking to media, she said, “It is my desire to act in at least one film every year. If I get good roles, roles that are close to my heart, I am ready to act in four-five films in a year.”
However, the actress did not replied to a question when asked that will she work in regional film like Telugu and Tamil.
If ever someone congregates the courage to remake ‘Gundamma Katha’, Sridevi will surely be approached for Suryakantham’s role.
The film ‘English Vinglish’ will be released on October 5. and Sridevi is making a comeback after 15-long years.
The film is directed by Gauri Shinde, and the film is about a woman who struggles to learn English language.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions soon after its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in its gala section.
