The senior leader of the BJP leader LK Advani is today celebrating his 85th birthday and BJP President Nitin Gadkari is an early to visit Advani’s residence at New Delhi.

It is said in reports that the BJP President met LK Advani at his residence in New Delhi for nearly 15 minutes

The meeting was important as it came just three days after LK Advani skipped the BJP core group meeting in national capital where the party announced its support to Gadkari.

Talking to media, Delhi BJP leader Vijay Jolly said, “The atmosphere was very cordial when Gadkari met Advani. Gadkari touched Advani’s feet and sought his blessings.”

Earlier on Wednesday, the RSS ideologue S Gurumurthy also supported Nitin Gandkari and said that the 14 firms that had invested in his Purti group belonged to a Nagpur-based business family

Talking about the clean chit to BJP President, Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh took a dig at the RSS statement and said that if Gurumurthy was BJP’s CAG.

Meanwhile, the BJP President has been under fire after his name was involved in the fraud charges, though, Gadkari refused to quit the BJP and said that he is ready for any probe.
