The rescue operation to save the life of a four-year old girl, Mahi Manesar, trapped in the 70-feet deep borewell near Manesar village has entered into last phase.
While talking to media, officials said that rescue work is just inches away from Mahi but a rock piece is making problems for the Army’s operation.
Meanwhile, a deep hole parallel to the 70-feet borewell is being made by the Army and Rapid Metro personnel.
The Chief Minister of Harayna Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that this rescue operation should get completed soon with success.
Reports have said that Oxygen is being pumped to the four-year-old into the borewell so that Mahi can breathe easily. Though, no fresh news about the girl’s health was given to media at the moment.
Talking to media, father of Mahi, Neeraj said, “For two hours the child kept crying inside the borewell, asking for help but now she is not responding to any calls.”
Houses near to the borewell were also called to vacate as a precautionary measure while the rescue operation continues
On the other hand, the Gurgaon’s District Magistrate PC Meena has yesterday announced a judicial enquiry to be carried out by Additional Deputy Commissioner to probe into the digging of an illegal borewell.
Further, an FIR under various Sections of the IPC has been registered against local resident Rotash Tayal, who illegally dug the borewell.
