Malala Yousafzai out of coma; she can stand and communicate

The Pakistani girl, Malala Yousafzai has come out of her coma, as said in reports by Dav Rosser, the medical head of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Sharing Malala Yousafzai’s health condition to media, the Rosser said, Malala Yousafzai is expressing her thoughts by writing notes. It is said that the girl is not in apposition to talk but she will start talking soon.

Further, it is said that Malala is not on the ventilator as she had a Tracheotomy and is breathing with the help of the tube in her neck.

Earlier, the Pakistani girl has movement of her arms and legs also stood with support for the first time. Malala was attacked by the Taliban in Mingora, Swat Valley ten days ago.

However, doctors have said that her health condition is still not so good, and it is a cause of concern.

Malala needs time to recover and may undergo more reconstructive surgery. Doctors have said that Malala’s skull bone will need to be replaced either with her own bone or with a titanium plate.

It is said that the surgery will be done weeks to months and no time is fix.

Talking to media, Dav Rosser said, “This is a fluid situation and that she sustained a very, very grave injury and she’s not out of the woods yet. But we are hopeful we will make a good recovery.”
