Sheila Dikshit’s political secretary sues Kejriwal for calling her a ‘dalal’

According to latest news, Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit’s political secretary Pawan Khera on Monday served a legal notice to India Against Corruption’s (IAC) leader and social activist Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly defaming Delhi chief minister and therefore all others working in ‘close proximity’ with her by making ‘derogatory’ remarks about the chief minister.

However, Arvind Kejriwal remained defiant and said in media that he and his supporters would continue to defame Sheila Dikshit till ‘injustice and corruption’ are done away with.

Meanwhile, the notice states an ‘unconditional public apology’ and ‘immediately withdraw all allegations and aspersions’ made by Arvind Kejriwal against the Delhi Chief Minister.

Further, the notice also asks Krjriwal to refrain from using ‘foul and filthy’ language and making ‘any false and baseless accusations’.

Kejriwal used ‘Dalal’ word for Delhi Chief Minister in a talk show. The notice cautioned Kejriwal that in case he fails to ‘comply with the notice’ within two days of receipt of the notice, he would have to face ‘civil and criminal proceedings’.

Kejriwal announced the launch of his political party on October 2, and he has been protesting against high power tariff rates in New Delhi. He has said that the Delhi government is in hands of private power distribution firms.
