Suddenly, after several hours of India executing decision of Kasab in a jail in Maharashtra early this morning, Pakistan Governemnt declined to accept a letter on the decision to hang Ajmal Kasab.

India asserted that it had in advance informed Pak about the decision to hang Kasab but Islamabad refused to acknowledge the letter. Foreign Office spokesman Moazzam Khan told reporters, “these reports are incorrect and baseless.” Read more

In a top-secret operation, Kasab was earlier shifted from Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail to the Pune’s Yerwada jail on Sunday night.

Kasab’s mercy petition rejected by President, shifted to Yerawada Jail

According to latest news, the mercy petition of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Ajmal Kasab has been rejected by the President Pranab Mukherjee. Kasab was the only arrest caught alive in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

The news was confirmed by the Home Secretary.

It is said that the petition was rejected on November 5 and later Kasab was shifted from Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail to Pune’s Yerawada Jail. Read more
