Today is the fourth anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attack and the whole country and Mumbai city paid tribute to those killed in the attack by 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists.
It is said in reports that the main remembrance event will be taking place at Mumbai Police Gymkhana at Chowpatty where a 26/11 memorial has been erected
Floral tributes were paid to the victims as well as martyrs at the memorial on Monday morning. Read more
According to latest news, the Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pak government will not link Ajmal Kasab with the issue of Sarabjit Singh, death row convict.
Talking to a private news channel, Mr. Malik said, “Pakistan government will not link the issue of releasing Sarabjit Singh to the execution of Ajmal Kasab.”
He said, “You know the resolve of Pakistan and our stated position that we are against terrorism. If someone has done an act of terrorism, I think that terrorist should meet his logical end.” Read more
On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, the day when Pakistani national and LeT terrorist Ajmal Kasab hanged to death at Pune’s Yerwada jail. And, on November 22, 2012, social activist and politician Arvind Kejriwal has announced to expose the central government’s apathy towards 26/11 heroes.
It is said in reports that Arvind Kejriwal will be taking up the cause of National Security Guard (NSG) commandos who fought the terrorists during 26/11 attack. Read more
As the Pakistani Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist of Mumbai 26/11 attacks, Ajmal Kasab had gone, but still moving controversial rows and one is that the rope by which he hanged was the same which weaved for 2001 Parliament attack death row convict Afzal Guru.
However, the rope was made by skilled prisoners of Bihar’s Buxar central jail, experts in weaving well structured ropes for execution and for that they has not any official demand for a specific rope to hang Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Kasab, as per media information. Read more
