The Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has recently said in an event that social activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal should prove himself instead of criticizing others.
The actor joined Anna Hazare campaign at New Delhi,. He was talking to media at a programme at Ujjain Press Club.
Anupam Kher said, “The time is over now for Kejriwal to oppose others, he should perform to prove himself.” Read more
The social activist turned politician Arvind Kejriwal has finally annoucned the name of his political party, after two months- the Aam Aadmi Party.
Kejriwal announced the name in the presence of around 300 members at its formal meeting. The national council of the party is also established and the party constitution formally adopted.
Now, the national council will select the 30-member national executive which will be the party’s highest decision-making body. Read more
According to latest news, social activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan on Friday questioned the “secretive manner” under which the central government have selected Ranjit Sinha as the new CBI Director and claimed he was a “tainted person”.
They said that Ranjit Sinha’s selection only shows that “government even today in all circumstances wants to use the CBI for its political benefits.” Read more
Talking with media at Hyderabad, Team Anna member Kiran Bedi said that Team Anna will may support Arvind Kejriwal’s political party in the upcoming elections.
Kirab Bedi was talking to media on the sidelines of the Indian School of Business (ISB) Leadership Summit-2013. She said, “We will support any honesty. Since he (Kejriwal) stands for promoting integrity, obviously he will be eligible for our support.” Read more
