Arvind Kejriwal’s party named Aam Aadmi Party

The social activist turned politician Arvind Kejriwal has finally annoucned the name of his political party, after two months- the Aam Aadmi Party.

Kejriwal announced the name in the presence of around 300 members at its formal meeting. The national council of the party is also established and the party constitution formally adopted.

Now, the national council will select the 30-member national executive which will be the party’s highest decision-making body.

The Aam Aadmi Party will not have a President, Vice President or General Secretary, though it will gave a national convenor. Kejriwal said htta his political party is for aam aadmi and it will not have a high commence style of working nature.

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal said, “The name (of the party) will be announced today and its formal launching ceremony is on Monday at Jantar Mantar.”

Further, Kejriwla tweets, “Main hoon Aam Aadmi. Main laoonga poorn azadi. (I am the common man, I will bring complete freedom)”

He later tweets, “Main hoon Aam Aurat. Main door karungi mengai” (I am the common woman, I will wipe out inflation).”

Kejriwal further tweets, “Main hoon Aam Aadmi. Main laoonga swaraj. (I am the common man, I will bring self rule)”
