False fire alarm in Parliament Annexe

In breaking news, it is said that cloud of smoke due to welding work created a fire alarm in Parliament Annexe Wednesday afternoon.

Thereafter, fire brigade vehicles were soon rushed to the spot of cloud of smoke noticed.

But, it got clear that there was no fire in the high security complex in Parliament Annexe.

Delhi Fire Department officials said that they received calls of fire in the Parliament Annexe area.

Telenor, Tata Teleservices in talks to merge Indian biz

Norway’s largest telecom operator, Telenor is in talks with Tata Teleservices to merge its Indian operations seeking to get its targeted point in the Indian mobile phone market over 900 million customers.

As per close sources with direct knowledge of the matter, Telenor which seeks to take a majority stake in the merged entity would become the top fifth mobile phone company in India, source said.

Meanwhile, India’s Tata Group will cut off its stake in unlisted Tata Teleservices and Japan’s NTT Docomo which have 26% stake in Tata Teleservices,

Malda Baby Death Case: 10 more babies die, toll rises at 25

Fresh news state that three more infants were died in the past 24 hours in the Malda Medical College and hospital in West Bengal. It si said in reports that the death toll has reached to 25 since Sunday.

Meanwhile, the state government had ordered the Chairman of Task Force of Infant Mortality to rush Malda. However, the hospital officials told media that three babies were suffering from birth asphyxia and hypothermia.

Samsung launches Window 8- based ATIV Smart Tablet PCs

South Korea Electronics giant Samsung has launched its Windows 8 touch Ultrabook , tablet cum PC, called ATIV Smart PC in Indian market .

“Our smart devices like the ATIV Smart PC and the other Windows 8-powered notebooks are designed to deliver seamless user experience… We have 10 per cent share of the notebook market in India and by next year, we are targeting 12 per cent,” Samsung Vice-President, IT , Jin Park told reporters.
