While batting in second innings, India team has got a target of 292 runs by the home side, but the India team was bowled out on 169 runs.

Earlier, in the start of the day four, the home side added 61 more runs in their last night’s total, before they were dismissed for 240 runs in their second innings.

The master blaster from India, Sachin Tendulkar once again fails to show his magic in Australia and was out for 32 individual score in the 27th over of the innings.

The most successful bowler from Australia was James Pattinson, who was later named as Man-Of-The-Match.

Australia’s fast bowlers, James Pattinson, Ben Hilfenhaus and Peter Siddle, bowled superbly and at one stage India was 81 for six on Tendulkar’s dismissal. Read more

tim paine 225x300 Australia cricket team’s back up wicketkeeper out for summerAs per the fresh sports news,  Australia’s back-up wicketkeeper Tim Paine was Wednesday named out for the summer, as officials told media that the player will now undergo surgery on a fractured finger immediately.

While talking to media, an official from Cricket Australia said, “The Tasmanian wicketkeeper and batsman’s battered right index finger will rule him out of availability for the next three to four months.”

Cricket Australia doctor Trefor James said, “Tim Paine’s recovery from surgery for a fractured finger has been slower than expected.”

Further, Mr. James said, “It is clear that the fracture has not healed as expected and the best course of action is for Tim to undergo further surgery.” Read more

Yuvraj Singh News 250x300 Yuvraj Singh expects comeback in Australia ODI seriesAs per the latest sports news, India’s World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh, who is slowly recovering from an non-malignant tumour in his lung, has recently said in a press release he was expecting to be fit for the ODI tri-series in Australia in February 2012.

While talking to media during the promotional event, Yuvraj said, “I’m getting ready to play again. I am targeting the ODI series in Australia.”

The super middle order batsman has a “non-malignant tumour” in his left lung and was left out of ODI series against the West Indies. Yuvraj Singh was also not includes by the selectors for the Test team playing in Australia due to his ill health.

Further talking to media, he said, “It was a very difficult time. It was a crucial period for me and my family when I learnt about the tumour. My mother supported me a lot during my recovery.” Read more

In the meantime, the India selectors have rested Virender Sehwag and R Ashwin and gave chance to Ajinkya Rahane and Irfan Pathan to play in the fifith ODI.

India has already won the series, and now they would surely try to end the series in a fine way. India team will soon fly to Australia thereafter. India won the last ODI with the superb record breaking double century by Indian captain Virender Sehwag. He scored 219 runs in the last ODI and India won the match by 153 runs.
