vk singh 300x233 Govt. asks to change DOB of Army Chief General VK SinghOn 3 Feb, the Supreme Court will hear the petition that was filed by General VK Singh as issue of his age that created by govt. to treat his date of birth as May 10,1950 instead of May 10, 1951.

But today, 5 days before the hearing , the ministry of Defence has written a letter to Adjutant’s General’s branch of Army asking for make a change in the Army Chief’s date of birth as 1950.

Chief’s age row is a big issue that forced to pointed out the security and disciplinary of Military forces. This issue is hit out by lack of majority from both sides, one is government and another is army civilian. Read more

Jayanthi Natarajan refuses proposal under CAMPA

To show her strict action regarding the processing of CAMPA’s funds, the Environment minister Jayanthi Natarajan has informed the authorities to ask the Comptroller and Auditor General to review the usage of funds to ensure the accurate forest management by implementing compensatory afforestation and sustainable forestry programme.

Attending a meeting over the discussion of spending funds of the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority, Natarajan clearly said that the protection along with regeneration of forests and wildlife habitats are the general purposes for which funds of CAMPA are being used.

And any other proposal that seems to be deal with non-forest activities should not to be allowed. Read more

army chief vk singh 300x258 Army Chief Age Issue: SC to hear today on VK Singh’s DOBThe Army chief general V K Singh who has brought the government in Supreme Court by filling a plea against it for claiming his DOB 1950 instead of 1951 is able to set down the UPA govt. under his strong defensive content as the proof of Legal document of Matriculation certificate.

As per source report, defence secretary Sashikant Sharma advised General to closed the case and offered him acceptance of his date of birth as 10 May,1951 by the govt. if he ready to quit on 31 May,2012 .

Such strange condition has brought because if he does not quit from the post then instead of posting of Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Bikram Singh as the next army chief, General will be stay in his position as per this his retirement period will be bring forward from 2012. Read more

As per source report, the apex committee of Supreme Court declared that under the inter caste marriage if Man is of Upper caste and Woman of SC/ST , then a child born of this couple cannot be permitted the right to reservations . Read more
