Sanjay Joshi posters chase Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to Rajkot

Once again after few days, the hoardings war in BJP started on the state BJP executive meeting in Rajkot while former BJP leader Sanjay Joshi posters appeared in the city on Saturday night, near the same venue where meeting was being held.

According to media reports, some posters were just outside the houses of senior BJP leaders.

Petrol price likely to fall further: Pranab Mukherjee

The finance minister of India, Pranab Mukherjee has indicated the petrol price may fall further in the coming period of time as the crude oil prices fall in the international market.

Earlier, the UPA government and Oil companies has announced a hike of Rs 7.54 per liter in petrol price in the country on 24 May.

This was the highest growth in the petrol in recent past, however, the central government cut petrol prices by Rs 2.02 per liter last week.

Dimple Yadav files nomination for Kannauj Lok Sabha bypoll

Crowned as the UP chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav is now seeking to put stand of his wife Dimple Yadav who today filed nomination papers as the Samajwadi Party candidate for the seat in the Kannauj Lok Sabha byelection.

Early morning, Dimple addressed a rally at Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh with her husband and it seemed just like any politician campaign for contesting. Being attached with rally, she said, “I want to thank all of you…for many of you, I am ‘Bhabhi’ (sister-in-law).”

Anna Hazare-Baba Ramdev to fast at Jantar Mantar today

In joining hands with anti corruption social activist Anna Hazare, Yoge Guru Baba Ramdev will sit on a day-long fast at Jantar Mantar in national capital today against corruption and black money stashed abroad.

Petrol price may cut by Rs 1.50 a litre from today

The hike of Petrol prices upto Rs 7.50 per litre last week, moved in a nationalwide strike, called by the NDA, Left parties and many key allies of the UPA on Thursday, hitting worse the transport routes.

The government still with its node not to reduce the hike as long as opposition pressure, but source said that there is more chances to reduce petrol price by Rs 1.50-1.60 a litre by the oil companies on Friday, or may be in the middle of next week.

Team Anna report, Prime Minister corrupt, wants inquiry

In yet, Team Anna blamed Congress to be the Center of corruption, but this time point totally turned as this time they accused 15 UPA minister of being “corrupt” including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

“We will wait till July 24. If the government does not take steps to (set up SIT), we will go on an indefinite fast from July 25,” activist Arvind Kejriwal told reporters, indicated charges were over portions of a draft CAG report against Singh when Coal Ministry was with him.
