Mukul Roy 150x150 TMC Minister submit resignations to Prime MinisterAccording to latest reports that Trinamool Congress party had formally announced to withdraw its support with the UPA government as all the minister submitted their resignations to the Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh.

Meanwhile, all the six minister of Mamata Banerjee headed TMC led by Mukul roy reached 7RCR to meet the Prime Ministe and gave their resignation to the Prime Minister.

TMC leader Mukul Roy was cabinet minister in Manmohan government, while Saugata Ray, Sisir Adhikari, Mohan Jatua, Sultan Ahmed and Sudip Bandopadhyay are ministers of state.

Reports have said that all the six minister will go to meet the President soon after their meeting with the Prime Minister. Mukul Roy and others will visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and will hand-over a letter withdrawing their support to the UPA govt.

Talking to media, Mukul Roy said, “The Trinamool Congress will launch nationwide protests against FDI in retail.”

During his speech, Roy said that UPA’s decisions are anti-people and his party, TMC, will never support such decisions.

Earlier, Trinamool Congress [TMC] head Mamata Banerjee has announced that she will withdraw her support with the UPA as Mamata Banerjee was not happy with Centre’s decision on FDI in multi-brand and hike in diesel prices and withdraw subsidy on LPG cylinders.
