Virbhadra Singh 150x150 Virbhadra Singh sworn in as Himachal Pradeshs next Chief MinisterAs per latest news, Congress leader Virbhadra Singh was sworn-in as Himachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister for a record sixth term in Shimla Tuesday.

It is said that the state Governor Urmila Singh administered the oath of office to the septuagenarian at the historic Ridge in Shimla. Virbhadra Singh has been Chief Minister for more than 16 years.

Congress leader Virbhadra Singh, 78-years-old, took oath at 10:40 am on Tuesday morning as state’s has been Chief Minister for more than 16 years.

Virbhadra Singh first assumed office April 8, 1983, replacing Thakur Ram Lal

Meanwhile, the congress leader belongs to the erstwhile princely state of Rampur Bushahr, and he started his political career at the age of 28.
