World Bank sanctions $152 million to increase health facilities in UP

Now Govt. should take essential steps regarding the Health of the public, this has been proved when a US $152 million credit has been approved by The World Bank to Uttar Pradesh.

On Tuesday, in a source of report, it has been cleared that the amount of credit which has been sanctioned, is only for helping the state to improve health outcomes where income levels are low and health indicators are among the poorest in the country.

However the sanctioned project is based on being make the health’s management department stronger and improving accountability systems that will help to bring better health services to the state… And along it, UP govt. will now able to improve its capacity to perform good quality of service.

ShahRukh Khan praises Amitabh Bachchan as the original Don

The King Khan of Bollywood, ShahRukh Khan has recently said in an interview that Super star Amitabh Bachchan is the “cent per cent original Don”, adding that Don 2 was inspired by the 1978 film starring Big B.

Talking to media, during the promotion of the film, the actor said, “Amit ji is cent per cent Don and I have full respect for him,” SRK told reporters on his maiden visit to Patna to promote his film, ‘Don 2.”

Yes Bank 300x214 Yes Bank increases savings rate to 7%As per the latest news, the interest rate for home savings accounts, with balances over Rs 1 lakh, has been increased by 100 basis points, to 7% from 6%.

Yes Bank, a leading private sector bank in the country, has recently announced to increase its savings deposit rates by 100 basis points to 7 per cent for domestic customers.

In a statement issued by the bank, “The interest rate for resident savings accounts, with balances over Rs 1 lakh, has been raised by 100 basis points, to 7 per cent from 6 per cent.”

Moreover, this is in addition to the present 6% interest given to customers by the bank for balances less than Rs 1 Lakh.

If CBI was under Lokpal Bill, P Chidambaram would be in jail, says Anna Hazare

In a fight against corruption in the country, Anna Hazare is the only name that hit every person’s mind. The Anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare has recently criticized the central government’s steps to ensure the Lokpal Bill did not have control over the CBI, saying the government was “cheating” people to protect “corrupt” ministers.

Talking to media, Anna Hazare said, “If CBI was under Lokpal, P Chidambaram would have been in jail today. If the CBI is kept out, how will the Lokpal be strong? This is a very weak bill. You (government) are protecting corrupt ministers and saying it is a strong Lokpal Bill.”

Meanwhile, Anna Hazare was talking to media at Ralegan Siddhi a day after the Lokpal Bill was approved by the Cabinet.

Govt to unveil food bill in Parliament today

The central government of the country is all set to unveil the food bill, as a move to give legal right on cheaper food-grains to 63.5 percent of nation’s population, in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.

Talking to media, the food minister KV Thomas said, “The National Food Security Bill will be introduced in Lok Sabha tomorrow.”

Food minister was talking to media in New Delhi on the sidelines of the 77th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA).

He told media that permission was granted by the speaker to introduce the bill and the food gain bill would be soon preferred to the Parliamentary Standing Committee.

When asked to food minister that if concerns raised by some opposition parties, including AIADMK, the minister said, “The bill has been prepared after wide consultations in last two-and-a-half years among various stakeholders including state governments”.

Australian teen gets 13-years jail for killing Nitin Garg

In a judgment of a murder case in Australia, 13-years jail sentence given to an Australian teen for killing an Indian student, Nitin Garg in a Melbourne park in January last year.

The murder case had turned out to be a diplomatic row.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named, confessed in the court that he killed Nitin Garg.

In the meantime, Nitin Garg was an accounting graduate and was stabbed multiple times as he walked to work in Melbourne.

The 17-year-old, who found guilty in killing and attempted robbery, had been trying to steal his mobile phone.
