2G Spectrum Case: Verdict on plea against P Chidambaram today

According to latest news, the Supreme Court will today deliver the verdict on the plea made by the Janta Party president Subramanian Swamy for CBI probe against the involvement of Union Finance minister P Chidambaram in the 2G Spectrum case.

Further, bench of Justices G.S. Singhvi and K.S. Radhakrishnan reserved orders after hearing counsel for various parties.

Justice GS Singhvi would pass order on Centre for Public and Litigation’s [CPIL] plea to call more investigation in the 2G Case. CPIL also demanded CBI investigation against the P Chidambaram in the 2G Spectrum Case.

Talking to media, Swamy said that Union Finance minister must be held responsible for the telecom scam as it happened when he was the finance minister of the country.

He challenged that Mr. Chidambaram was well aware of A Raja’s working as well as that P Chidambaram should have stopped him, in the country’s interest, the time of petitions of policy to allocate spectrum.
