BJP ejects 160 workers and leaders during polls in Uttarakhand

As per today’s fresh political report, amid of anti-party activities during the Uttarakhand polls that held on January 30, the BJP had ejected total of 160 leaders and its workers.

In the list of expelled members, sitting MLAs — K.S. Fonia, Raj Kumar, G.L. Shah and Anil Nautiyal are on top most.

Talking to Media, BJP President of Uttarakhand, Bishan Singh Chufal said acceptance of all anti-party activities has taken and also in order to take further action, the party directed the district party units to submit such reports.

“We have so far expelled 160 party workers and leaders during the assembly elections,” said Chufal.

However 30 new faces have been included in BJP party which faced a crisis after some of these rebels contested against party candidates.

The State has 70 Assembly constituencies and though having corruption charges factor against the BJP, the party members has in great confidence of retaining power.
