The film ‘Life of Pi’, based on Yann Martel`s Booker Prize winning novel of the same name, was released allover and the filmmaker Karan Johar and Shekher Kapur said that this is a must watch film for all.
Meanwhile, the film was released this Friday in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and so far collected Rs.3.5 crore
Filmmaker Karan Johar tweets, ““‘Life Of Pi` – must watch!! Its message will have multiple interpretations and will be open to post viewing analysis. That`s the fun of it.”
The film is released in 2D and 3D format and Shekher Kapur liked the film so much so that the filmmaker watched the film twice.
Shekher Kapur tweets, “Watching ‘Life of Pi’ second time in two days. Brought my daughter and her friends. Nice to see a full house and lots of kids. Fantastic movie.”
The film is a story of a boy who is adriff at sea in a lifeboat with a Royal Bengal tiger after his family is drowned in a shipwreck.
‘Life of Pi’ features Bollywood actors Tabu and Irrfan Khan and newcomer Suraj Sharma.
Most of the shooting of the film is done in the hillside town of Munnar along with the elegance of Pondicherry – all on 3D.
