Gambhir flies back to Delhi after grandmother dies

According to latest news, the opener from the Indian cricket team Gautam Gambhir flew back to Delhi before the start of the fourth day`s play in the first Test against England following the death of his grandmother on Sunday.

Talking to media, the media manager Vinod Deshpande has confirmed the news and said that Gautam Gambhir took a flight to Delhi this morning after hearing the news of his grandmother`s death.

Vinod Deshpande said, “I don`t know when he will be back. It probably will depend on what happens today in the match.” Read more
