The Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit has requested Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Star India CEO Uday Shankar to bring the second series of TV Show Satyamev Jayate, which raised some very serious social issues and created awareness.

The Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan and Star India CEO were honoured for creating awareness against social favoritism with the series of their TV Show Satyamev Jayate.

Aamir Khan and Uday Shankar was awarded by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes at a function held in New Delhi.

Sonia Gandhi, Sheila Dikshit congratulates NSUI candidates

The Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has congratulated the NSUI candidates for their win in the Delhi University Students Union elections on Saturday.

The winning team from the NSUI candidates met the Delhi chief minister at her residence, congress chief Sonia Gandhi and legislator Mukesh Sharma was also present.

Talking to media, Sheila Dikshit said, “The landslide victory established beyond doubt that the Congress party and its ideology were dear to the youth of the Capital as well as the country.”

Delhi Chief Minister announces Rs 25 Lakh for Unmukt Chand

According to latest reports, the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit has today announced her state government to give Rs 25 lakh to Unmukt Chand, captain of Indian cricket team in ICC U19 World Cup, which beats Australia cricket team in Australia in finals.

Sheila Dixit was talking to media, she said, “We are proud of him, and as a token of appreciation we will give him Rs 25 lakh.”
