UP assembly elections: 109 members have criminal records

As per election candidates monitoring group report, total 871 candidates filed nomination for first phase of UP assembly election February 8 and the group analyzed 284 candidates out of which 109 have criminal records pending against them that is a record of 10% rise as compare to 2007 elections.

The govt. challenged to have clean images of contestants and the country is in safer hands, but this analysis shows all facts that define truth.

Each party is trying to define itself with untidy character and said they only wants to serve nation, but as per group report that forced to thinks at least one time before polling is that out of these 109 contestants, 46 of them are accused in serious crimes like murder, rape and extortion.

These include from BSP and BJP 24 each while Congress (15), Peace Party (12), JD-U (5) and RLD (1).

BSP’s Mayawati has tried to clean image building and proves to be free from crime by throwing out corrupt ministers but Indira Pratap from Gossaignganj, who faces 5 murder cases and 5 of attempt to murder, is still in the party.

Same thing happen with Samajwadi Party, that have thrown out DP Yadav but Mitrasen Yadav from Bikapur, who faces 11 charges related to attempt to murder and dozens of serious crimes is in the party.

Over all such stories defining wholly different faces of party unlike it says. There is full of corrupt leader in the party that sculpting people of the country.
