Anna Hazare arrives New Delhi for medical treatment

Today Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare has left for Delhi for further detailed medical treatment and he would be admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon.

Mr. Hazare had been suffering from persisting cough and back-pain for one month ago and doctors strictly advised him to take rest at least one month.

However for proper medical check up, he heads to Delhi, it is expected that Anna is planning to go to Haridwar for Ayurvedic treatment through Baba Ramdev’s Centre.

As per report, offer made by Baba Ramdev for medical help to Anna has ended the fight of Baba with anti-corruption activists.

Beside Mr. Hazare’s condition is not well, but no sign even a little bit in reduction of his power to fight against corruption has shown. Talking to Anna, he said, My fight against corruption will continue.

Today Rajya Sabha member Abhishek Manu Singhvi also has turned a Delhi court for withdrawal of its summons to him that had issued on the complaint by a Haryana resident, Satbir, alleging that Anna Hazare and his Team members instigated the public against the government during his anti-graft campaign in August.

The court had allowed Satbir to give evidence in support of his allegations and then he said Singhvi as a witness without his permission which is a senior advocate practicing at the Supreme Court and is a Member of Parliament. But Singhvi has dismissed summons issued by the court of erstwhile Kamla Market metropolitan magistrate, by defining in his application that he does not know the complainant and his name and address being wrongly mentioned in his list of witnesses.

Singhvi said, “The applicant seeks direction for withdrawal of the summons issued to him since he has no connection with the complainant or the present complaint case.”
