Asia Cup 2012: India v/s Pakistan, Pakistan will bat first

The best news for the cricket lovers and millions of fans of Yuvraj Singh is that he was discharged from hospital today after accomplishing the third and final phase of chemotherapy to recover from a rare germ cell cancer in Boston, USA.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh posted on his social networking site, twitter, “3rd chemo cycles over, back from hospital n I am free. Road to recovery starts now. Can’t wait to be back home.”

He further writes on his wall, “Thank you 4 all ur love n wishes from the bottom of my heart I’m sure they have worked well with the doctors therapy.”

Rail unions urges PM Manmohan Singh, say don’t roll back

Railway Minster Dinesh Trivedi’s come back in Parliament gives a headache to Railway Union as afraid of roll back the proposed fare hikes recommendation in Rail Budget 2012-13.

Covering around 14 lakh railway employees, the Railway Union wrote a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to think about “industrial action” if the govt. is moved hikes fare back.

The five federations of railway unions, affiliated to Indian Trade Union Congress (INTUC) wrote, “We are expressing our deep sense of anguish for making the Railway Minister a scapegoat for… justified decision in the interest of the Railways and nation. Should our request fail to receive your sympathetic consideration, we would have no option except to resort to agitation.”
