The super star of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B was discharged late yesterday from the Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai after a 13-day stay post his abdominal surgery.

Addressing to media, senior doctors at the Seven Hills, who was taking care of Big B said that he was recovery fine and would be back on his feet after a few days of rest.

On the other hand, Big B also posted on his social networking site about his discharge from the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan tweets, “Just discharged from hospital and am back home in familiar surroundings, gently taking in all that now engulfs me.”

The actor further tweets, “The surgery discomfort and soreness persists, but will take a while to finally erase itself from the pain glands, but in all, apart from a sluggish movement, Gods grace and prayers of the Ef have put me back on track again. My most gracious thanks to all.”

Soon after Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from the hospital, he directly left for Prateeksha and did a small prayer at the hospital before moving on to Jalsa where the family resides.

Meanwhile, son Abhishek Bachchan had come all the way from Wai where he has been shooting for Bol Bachchan to welcome Amitabh Bachcha at home.

Abhishek Bachchan is likely to go back for shooting to join the rest of the Bol Bachchan crew.
