HTC launches ‘J Butterfly’, the first 5” 1080p Smartphone

Moving ahead with long lasting rumoured reports, Taiwan Company HTC has finally rolled out it’s a 5-inch full HD phablet firstly in Japan market against its major rivals Samsung and Apple.

HTC has named it the ‘J Butterfly’ and become the first company to offer a 5-inch, 440ppi full-HD “Super LCD 3″ 1920 X 1080 screen featuring device which comes with Android latest 4.1 version coded as Jelly Bean.

The device is completely powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor and support Sense 4 on top. It has come with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage which is expanded via microSDHC expansion card slot up to 32GB.

As part of additional features, J Butterfly comes with an 8MP rear camera capturing images of 3280×2464 high resolution with videos in 1080p along  a 2.1-megapixel front-facing sensor.

For fastest Internet access, it supports LTE 4G connectivity and CDMA/GSM/UMTS/GPRS radios with NFC, HDMI and Bluetooth features. Waterproof support and stylish look with spark, HTC’s J Butterfly rated IPX5 is launch in three color options- red, white and black.

However, still there are no information about worldwide launch. It has been said that the company will ship its latest phablet in Japan in early December.
