The latest Bollywood reveals that the so called Chulbul Pandey, means Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Dabangg 2′s satellite rights have been sold out for a record of Rs 48-50 crore by Star Network for 11 years.
The declaration was made to media by a trade source [close to the deal].
In addition to this the music rights of the forthcoming film were sold for around Rs 10 crore by T-Series.
The actor has recently arrived back from Cuba after completing of his upcoming film Ek Tha Tiger, and is most likely to start the shoot of Dabangg 2 in a week or so in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the senior vide-president of Star Gold had refused to share any information of the deal and the price.
Earlier Hrithik Roshan’s Krissh and the Shahrukh Khan’s Don 2 were sold to Sony for Rs 37 crore each. Furthermore, Aamir Khan’s Talaash and Karan Johar’s Agneepath went for Rs 40 crore.
