The Indian captain Virender Shewag cracked a blasting double hundred in the 4th ODI against West Indies played at Indore today. The great moment was witnessed by more than 40,000 crowds at the Holkar Stadium.
Once again Sehwag created history in the cricket by scoring the highest ever individual scores in ODIs. Earlier, Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar holds this record, he scored 200 runs against South Africa in Gwalior on February 24, 2010.
Indian scored 418 runs in their 50 over play with the loss of 3 wickets. Opener Gautam Gambhir also played superbly today and got his first half century of the series. He got run out on an individual score of 67 runs.
Thereafter, Suresh Raina came to bat with Sehwag, he also got his fifty and he was also runs out on 55 runs made from 44 balls with the help of 6 fours.
However, Sehwag faces just 140 balls to complete his 200 runs.
Past, Virender Sehwag got to his 150 runs in just 112 balls with the help of five sixes and 16 boundaries after completing his 15th ODI century off 69 balls.
Captain Sehwag, who was struggling in the previous three ODIs, got his lost touch back as he scored his blazing ton in just 69 balls which included 10 fours and five sixes.
Now, it would be interesting to see that how West Indies batsman will approach to this huge score.
