Woman Air Force officer Anandita Dasgupta allegedly commits suicide in Jodhpur

Breaking news state that a women Air Force officer from Jodhpur, Squadron Leader Anandita Dasgupta, has allegedly committed suicide today morning at around 3:30 am as said in TV reports.

Anandita Dasgupta, the 29-years-old Air Force officer, was commissioned into the Air Force six years ago. Further, her husband is also in Indian Air Force as a pilot.

Talking to media, the local police official said, “She was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the wee hours today. The body has been shifted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.

Meanwhile, Anandita Dasgupta basically belonged to Kolkata, and was a ground duty officer.

On the other hand, the Defence spokesperson SD Goswami said that a Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the case.

Mr. Goswami said, “Police investigation is on and we will extend full cooperation to the police investigation.”
