Airtel unveils unlimited international data roaming plan

Bharti Airtel offered a good and beneficial 1-day Bridge DataRoamUnlimited scheme to postpaid users under which they will get unlimited data usage whether in case of roaming across Asia Pacific for USD 10 per day.

According to Bridge DataRoamUnlimited plan, users will charge with a flat rate data roaming on a daily basis. Decision of launching this unlimited international data roaming plan is seeking to advance planning of covering the entire customer segment that needed fastest internet access as TD-LTE, a 4G mobile broadband technology will be launched later this year.

Airtel‘s launch of Bridge DataRoamUnlimited takes the alliance to the next level of expanded coverage and presence in the region,” CEO and Vice-President of Bridge Alliance, Ken Wee said.

The 11 Bridge Alliance member operator networks include Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Macau, Singapore and Thailand; all are the initiatives of Airtel unlimited roaming data plan.

For managing its effective TD-LTE network in Maharashtra, Nokia Siemens Networks has been chosen by Airtel. Nokia is the company which had already announced its pan-India launch of the mobile wallet service that provides nationwide availability of the Airtel Money to Airtel customers.

Moreover, Airtel came with this amazing preferential plan that ultimately will help to increase its number of long term users, offering improved and consistent network coverage with TD-LTE technology that delivers faster Internet access and also supports video streaming and high-definition video conferencing.
