Anna Hazare will not go for State Poll Campaign: Kiran Bedi

A fresh report has released by a core member of Team Anna, Kiran Bedi that the social activist Anna Hazare won’t be campaigning in five poll-bound states due to his ill health.

However Anna had planned earlier to travel in five poll-bound states, but after recovered in a hospital he has been advised rest by doctors.

Talking to reporters, Kiran said, “Anna needs complete rest. Doctors have advised him not to travel. My opinion is also that Anna should be taking rest. So he won’t be travelling or campaigning.”

She added, “The 74-year-old activist was recovering and his condition was stable.”

The five assembly polls are held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur in the next two months. Although all those parties who are opposite Jan Lokpal Bill, had threatened by Anna Team. Their main targeted point was of congress.

However 74-year-old activist has admitted in Pune hospital due to acute chest congestion and forced to call off his three-day scheduled hunger strike in Mumbai December 28, less than 36 hours after he began it.

In fact it is an opportunity for congress at the time of polls to get it and raised the strength.

The core committee would meet on Saturday to discuss their further strategy against campaign, the former police officer, who is one of the closest Hazare aides, said.

Hazare’s main strategy was to launch a sit-in outside the residences of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son party general secretary, Rahul Gandhi, to being threatened them .But it was cancelled due to Hazare’s health deterioration in Mumbai.
