BSNL put its hands as an entrant into the increasingly competitive market for the tablets by launching three tablets in New Delhi.

Three Penta TPAD IS7O1R, WS704C and WS802C, made by Noida-based Pantel are now available in market for usage and ready to beat the Aakash tablet that made by Datawind, promoted by a Canadian India.

Recently govt. has ordered more than thousands “Aakash” improved version to provide high networking services at price of Rs 2,250 for students.

As targeting the entry-level segment, BSNL fix the price range of three tablets at Rs 3,250, Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,500, high in comparison of Aakash, the reason may be of technical specifications.

Featuring with a 7″ resistive touchscreen, the Penta TPAD IS7O1R also sports 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, WiFi, 3G dongle supports & a front camera. This tablet seems to be a strong competitor of the Aakash tablet.

Another tablet, the Penta TPAD WS704C covers all the features of TPAD IS7O1R along with 512 MB DDRIII RAM and an additional facility of rear cameras, also a SIM card slot.

Users who wants to more clarity and clearly high display, The Penta TPAD WS802C, features a built-in Global Position System, available with a 8″ capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB DDRIII RAM, WiFi, 3G dongle support & front as well as rear cameras and connectivity with TV through HDMI.

Official source of State-owned telecom services provider BSNL informed that these highly specified tablets will be sold with discounted data plans from BSNL.

Adding more benefits for users, all three Penta made tablets that will be powered by Android 2.3 OS, will provide by firm along with a one-year warranty.

Moreover, BSNL’s tablets have the built-in 2GB memory that can be expanded by up to 32GB, but users have to paid more for third high ranged tablet that may be ranged upto Rs 13,000.
