The idea to make Satellite phones in hands of people in Bihar has come in mind of govt. after facing so many hurdles from side of Maoists hostage.
As per official report, around 85 Maoist under covered of flood-affected districts of Bihar where network coverage is very weak,
Satellite phones will be installed for making best communications at emergency time.
Wider coverage is possible through satellite phone as it sends signals to the nearest orbiting satellite.
“It is a matter of time before installation of satellite phones begins,” Ashok Kumar, an official of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL), said.
It has been reported that as soon as possible, the satellite phones will be installed, the wait is only for equipments that are not arrived.
This communicating policy will surly helps police department to probing and making quick actions in combing operations against Maoists.
An official of the state disaster management department said that installation of satellite phones in the flood districts of Sitamarhi, Supaul, Saharsa, Darbhanga, Katihar and Madhubani, will be prove a major helpful weapon at time of rescue and relief operations.
