Telenor partners with India’s Lakshdeep under fresh JV

The Norway’s Telenor today announced to being signed a new Indian Telewings joint venture with its new partner Lakshdeep Investments & Finance Pvt. Ltd.

The newly set up entity of Indian Telewings Communications by replacement of Unitech with Lakshdeep, Telenor ready to enter in a bid for new mobile telephone licenses, for which source said, the company has already fulfill all the eligibility criteria with submission of an application for prequalification.

Kingfisher: Strike call off, now to up with revival plan

Kingfisher Airline which was going to shut down with its huge tremendous never ended troubles, now relief as its agitated staff including engineers, technicians and pilots have called off a long 26-day strike with promise to resume their work immediately.

Kalyan Singh may join BJP again

Fresh reports have said that Kalyan Singh may join the BJP party once again. The statement was said by Rajnath Singh on Friday. He said that Kalyan Singh hinted at his imminent return to the party fold.

Meanwhile, the ex-chief minister and Jan Kranti Party patron Kalyan Singh today said he would re-join BJP at the right time for “uniting nationalist forces”.

Speaking to media about his return to BJP party, Kalyan Singh said, “I am in no mood of alliance. We will merge the party (with BJP) at the right time.”

Indian engineer returns after spending 5 years in Pak jail

According to fresh news, a Mumbai-based software engineer, Bhavesh Parmar, who claimed to have accidentally crossed over to Pakistan in 2007 by Samjhauta Express, and was jailed for five years there, returned home today.

At his arrival at Mumbai airport, Bhavesh Parmar said, “It feels good to be back. I am happy.”

Meanwhile, Bhavesh Parmar’s mother Hansa Kanti thanked Vile Parle MLA Krishna Hegde and MP Priya Dutt for their help in the matter.

Fardeen Khan’s wife pregnant with twins

Bollywood buzz state that actor Fardeen Khan is very happy as his wife Natasha is pregnant. Further, the actor added that they are expecting twins.

Fardeen Khan, 38-years-old actor, posted on twitter, “I am delighted to announce that my wife is a very healthy 13 weeks pregnant and we are expecting twins.”

Actor Fardeen Khan married to Natasha in 2005. Natasha is a daughter of yesteryear actress Mumtaz and Britain businessman Mayur Madhvani.

External Affairs Minister SM Krishna resigns

According to latest political news, the External Affairs Minister SM Krishna resigned just before the reshuffle of the Union Cabinet scheduled on Sunday.

Source said, SM Krishna, 80-year-old, basically from Karnataka, is believed to have sent his resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the afternoon.

It is said in reports, as the Assembly elections are expected to be held in May next year in Karnataka, SM Krishna might get a party assignment in the state.
